Changing Your ‘Want To’

I just loved that statement! So concise and so true! The times that I am the most content is when I can let go of all the things I think that I want or need and truly believe that God is my Provider. There is a still, quiet place in my soul when that happens. I have heard it said that having an intimate relationship with God changes your ‘want to.’ I love that phrase! In other words, I don’t want what I used to want. I want what God wants for me. I want a deep relationship with Him. I want to sacrifice so that I can give more to my husband. I want a simpler life rather than an expensive one. I want different things now. Isn’t that amazing?! What an awesomely peaceful existence God offers us if we would only align what we want with whatever He gives us. *Le sigh…
